You should note that the free version is no longer referred to as “Lite.” Instead, the non-paid version is now known as DaVinci Resolve 12 and the paid version is DaVinci Resolve 12 Studio. In version 12, DaVinci Resolve is now a full-fledged non-linear editor for SD, HD and Ultra HD projects. It’s now available to download from the Blackmagic Design web site. Blackmagic Design has released a public beta of DaVinci Resolve 12, its professional editing and color correction software.
